Charlotte: East Coast Living with Southern Charm

Charlotte is the largest city in North Carolina, and the second-largest city in the southeastern United States with a population of 2.5 million people. Home to many banking headquarters including the Bank of America and the east coast operations of Wells Fargo, it’s an economically prosperous city in the banking and investment management industries as well as retail, technology, and even packaging. When work is over, it’s time to play, and for entertainment, the city boasts an array of museums, performing arts venues, festivals, and special events, including the Carolina Renaissance Festival, operating Saturday and Sunday in October and November. It is one of the largest Renaissance-themed events in the country and features eleven stages of outdoor variety entertainment, a 22-acre village market place, an interactive circus, a feast, and even a jousting tournament! And if you’re a sports fan, you just might be in luck since Charlotte is home to multiple sports franchises including the Carolina Panthers of the NFL and the Charlotte Hornets of the NBA. With all this in store (plus so much more!), Charlotte is the perfect place to call home.
